Hurricanes/tropical cyclones are rapidly rotaiting storm systems that house spiral arrangements of thunderstorms that produce squalls, heavy rain, and tornadoes.
Often called, hurricanes, typhoons, tropical storms, cyclonic storms, tropical depression, simply, cyclone.
Hurricanes, are often given names that correspond to people. For instance, Hurricane Sandy occurred in 2012, causing immense damage, and took the lives of 254 people in 8 nations.
